New beginnings
As I embark on this new adventure, Whims Design Studio, an electric vibe of anticipation fills me within. Circumstances as they are, I have the opportunity to hang my shingle out for my own freelance business, and work with desire and passion. I love creating, be it art, graphics, logos, websites, or family memories. It is my “Flow” in which I lose track of time.
Design Intention
My hope is that we can provide small businesses with support for building their clientele and customer base. Having owned a small store previously, (Maybelle’s Market) I have perspective on the challenges that come with running a business, and my goal is to alleviate some of that stress for my clients.
Design and marketing are important for revenue, especially for a small business with a small budget. Owners typically end up trying to do this on their own to save money, and the results are less than ideal. It may not be in the budget to hire a Designer or Marketer on staff. Contracting this work out is an affordable option, especially if the need is only short term or seasonal. This is where Whims can help.
Keeping the faith
I start this journey whilst dusting myself off after life has knocked me down. Following a dream is liberating, even when it doesn’t work out. I have gained many lessons and experiences that propel me forward for this next endeavor. Perspective is a valuable gift only given to those that choose to receive it. I intend to pay it forward by using these gifts to help others prosper. I have faith that if I can help others keep their dreams going, this shall prosper, too.
So now, I take that leap of faith and hope for the best! For all my fellow dreamers – keep making it happen!
